Certificate of Professional Competence

Holding a valid Category D or D+E license

Validity: 5 years

The Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for passenger transport is mandatory for professional bus drivers in Category D and D+E. It is valid for 5 years.

Theory Training (KETHEYO)

Without a prior professional license: 16 hours of theory. With a valid professional license: 7 hours of theory. (Teaching hour = 45 minutes)

Practical Training

Without a prior professional license: 16 hours of practical driving in a training bus. With a valid professional license: 6 hours. (Teaching hour = 45 minutes)

Theoretical Examination

60 multiple-choice questions via the Computerized Examination System (150 minutes) + 2 case studies (90 minutes). The exam is conducted electronically.
